- How is the 21,000+ monthly visitor estimate calculated?
- The figure is a blended, de-duplicated estimate across the 16 .computer properties, derived from server analytics, CDN logs and published platform reach. It is not a guaranteed impression count; actual traffic varies by month, search seasonality and platform. We report it as a directional network audience and refresh the estimate quarterly.
- What is the duration of an advertising placement?
- All packages are annual (12 months) from the invoice date. Placements run for a full year unless otherwise agreed in writing. Renewal is at the published rate at the time of renewal and is not automatic.
- What does “sharing on LinkedIn” include?
- Each placement is shared once on the founder’s LinkedIn profile and, where applicable, on the relevant platform LinkedIn page. Shares are organic posts — not paid media — and include your brand mention, a short caption and a link to your placement. We do not guarantee impressions, clicks or engagement on third-party platforms.
- Does advertising affect rankings, records or editorial coverage?
- No. Advertising is clearly labelled and kept separate from the indexed dataset, rankings and editorial content. Placement never influences a company’s position in any ranking, directory record or comparison.
- Can I change my creative during the year?
- Yes. Each annual package includes one creative refresh per quarter at no extra cost. Additional changes or rush requests may incur a fee.
- What happens after I enquire?
- We reply within two business days with availability, placement specs and a single annual invoice. Once payment is confirmed, your placement goes live and the LinkedIn amplification is scheduled.
Terms & conditions
Annual term. All advertising packages are sold on a 12-month basis from the date of invoice payment. There are no monthly or pro-rata options unless agreed in writing.
Payment. Invoices are payable in full before placement goes live. Currency is USD unless otherwise stated. Bank transfer details are supplied on the invoice.
Creative. Advertisers supply a brand name, URL, tagline and up to 120 characters of copy. We reserve the right to reject creative that is misleading, illegal, offensive or inconsistent with editorial neutrality.
Editorial independence. Sponsored placement does not influence rankings, directory records, comparison pages or any editorial content. Advertisers are not entitled to favourable editorial coverage.
LinkedIn amplification. Each placement is shared once on the founder’s LinkedIn profile and, where applicable, on the relevant platform LinkedIn page. Shares are organic, not paid media, and no impressions, clicks or engagement are guaranteed.
Cancellation & refunds. Cancellations within 14 days of payment receive a full refund if the placement has not yet gone live. After the placement is live, the annual fee is non-refundable.
Visitor estimates. The 21,000+ monthly visitor figure is a directional, de-duplicated network estimate based on analytics data and is not a guaranteed number of impressions or clicks.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
